  1.                       Not-yet-named bbs conferences

  6.    There are a variety of conferences on this system. A conference is
  7.  like a mini-bbs that is set up for a specific. Each  conference  has
  8.  its own message base, file area, and sometimes  bulletins  and  wel-
  9.  come messages. Here is a listing of the conferences currently on the
  10.  system:
  11.  
  12.       Forsale -  A conference specifically set up for selling products
  13.                  to your fellow users. Currently has no files  in  the
  14.                  files section because there is no reason for  forsale
  15.                  files. This is a public conference open to all  users
  16.                  who wish to register to it.
  17.  
  18.       Program -  Computer programming conference. Open for the discus-
  19.                  sion of any type of computer programming. Source code
  20.                  and other things like that may appear  from  time  to
  21.                  time in the file area.
  22.  
  23.         Coco  -  Specifically for the Trs-80 color computers 1, 2, and
  24.                  3. Coco files are up in the file directory.  This  is
  25.                  also a private conference open to  members  only.  To
  26.                  gain access to the conference, then leave  a  message
  27.                  to Bruce Smith (the  conference  operator)  or  Scott
  28.                  Baker.

  30.          Teen -  This conferences is for teenagers only. There are lots
  31.                  of boards in Tucson that have adult-only section so I
  32.                  set up a teenager-only section.
  33.  
  34.     Adventure -  This is for adventure game hints/help. You can post
  35.                  messages asking for help with a certain game or
  36.                  download a SOLVE file for a game (In the files area
  37.                  for this conference).

  39.         Apple -  This section is set aside for apple users. If you have
  40.                  an apple computer, then you can use this board. There
  41.                  may be files for transfer in it sometime.
  42.  
  43.     Commodore -  Commodore conference (64,128, amiga,  etc.).  A  vast
  44.                  amount of commodore files are stored in its file dir-
  45.                  ectory. The conference is open to members only.  Con-
  46.                  tact Britt Froemel  (conference  operator)  or  Scott
  47.                  Baker for access.

  49.         Tandy -  This is a special conference for tandy computer users
  50.                  (everything but cocos, they have thier own area)
  51.  
  52.          Cp/m -  An area for CP/M computer users.
  53.  
  54.         Amiga -  for amiga users. There is a file area for this conference
  55.                  that may have files from time to time.
  56.  
  57.         Jokes -  Post messages about jokes and other things like that in
  58.                  this conference. You can put up just about any type of
  59.                  joke here.

  61.        Debate -  For arguing about stuff. There is usually a certain topic
  62.                  set up and users can say thier opinion for or against it
  63.                  or whatever.

  65.         Sigop -  This is a special area for sigops on the not-yet-named
  66.                  bbs. A sigop is somebody who operates a conference.
  67.  
  68.        Sysops -  This is a conference specifically  for  operators  of
  69.                  other bulletin boards. It is private and for  members
  70.                  only. Contact Scott Baker for access.

  73.          Help -  If you need any type of help with the system, help with
  74.                  a certain product, or anything like that, you can leave
  75.                  a message in this area.

  77.      Register -  Info on registration for private conferences.
  78.  
  79.         Music -  Talk about your favorite type of music here.

  81.    This completes the list of conferences on the board. If you would like

  87. ------
  88.     I am looking for people to be sigops. All they have to do is run a
  89.  conference. I am looking for sigops for teen, apple, commodor, tandy,
  90.  CP/M, amiga, jokes, debate, help, and music. If you are interested, then
  91.  leave a comment to the sysop.
